Name:Deadpool
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:asch
Date Added:August 14, 2009
Base Figure:Recipe
Height:6.00 inches
I wanted to have my own Deadpool with really original recipe, it`s no ease to be original couse there are many great customs on realm. However, to match articulation with something what I could name - overall spirit of character (especially THIS character:) was a challenge. It took some time but now I have so much fun with him, he can do anthing I want (am I saying this loudy?:]). Perfect figure for play or pose or simply for love to. Hope something with his magic is in those photos, enjoy!

recipe:
ML MoonKnight - head + sculpted mask and ninja hood
FO DD - torso, biceps, + sculpted costume details (dremeled sholulders sockets), legs balljoints
Sota Adon - ballshoulders, lower legs (dremeled, sculpted)
XMC Magneto - croth (dremeled)
NECA Raziel - upper legs + sculpted costume details
WWE figure - forearms
FO Jigsaw - fingers
LCBH MadMan - hands
ML Punisher - feet + sculpted details

NECA Lara Croft - guns + holsters, grenades
NECA TMNT Leonardo - sheat (was made from both L. sheats to get proper lengh)
REVOLTECH - combat knife + some G.I.Joe sheat (sculpted)
PLAYMATES John Connor - bullets holster (on left leg)

custom metal sword, stripes was sculpted (+ leftovers), grenades are magnetic
his belt logo was made from button + sculpt

and of course, I always love the SUPER poseability of your figs and the cool action poses you give 'em.
the only thing that looks off is the thigh. but the paint and sculpt is really great man! I also love the custom made sword and the magnetic grenades!
man, every figure you make is really distinct and has "asch" written all over it. you have your own style that's present in all of your works.
keep it up sir!

dude you are my hero! I cannot express the joy this custom brings to me. Like when I see this it makes me see like all the hopes and dreams of everyone who loves liefelds work put into a toy that says it all, right down to the gloves. Which I must say is the one detail that I think is amazing. I know that my stuff isn't that great but I hope one day I can make a deadpool comparitive to this one because he has been my favorite character since I got into comics.
and I was wondering which head did you use for the maskless head?

With the exception of those leg-balljoints, perfect work! I don't usually comment on deadpool customs (there's so -many-) but I really, really like yours. Something about using the ML Punisher boot-foot, and the torso/weapon choices. Really fantastic looking custom. I was considering making my own out of a ML FO Punisher at some point, and will defiantly use my ML6 Punisher boots after seeing how well they worked with yours.
Q: How did you go about making / attaching the sheath for Deadpool/Leo's sword? It looks good too.

this is amazing, BUT, I do think those thighs don't work. way too much anatomy showing there for someone wearing a costume.
fantastic job though

yes, I am indeed tired of "seeing so-call deadpool customs". he's been done to death, and often its the same generic recipe. I know I'm not the only person to share this opinion.
So, why did I look? Thats easy, because this isn't just another DP custom figure, its an amazingly crafted DP custom figure. It's got a piece of Asch living inside of it now.
also, on a guess, you didn't bother to read the following 3 sentences from that post. its not as if I wrote a book there.
but I digress, this is indeed an excellent custom that has all the "umph" that most other DP customs lack. I'd love to see some action shots with this DP and his re-imagined DareDevil.
that gets the gears in my head a' turning.....hell, I'll even put this out there...
Asch, I challenge you to complete the ménage à trois and do a take on Typhoid Mary.

Your point being? if your sick of the so-call deadpool customs then don't look...easy as that.
Good job on this one. you nail him pretty well. the only part I don't like is his eyes ..it look pretty friendly. other then that good job.

I'm sick and tired of Deadpool customs....
but this one stands out to me. It seems more "personal".
I love how functional everything is (or seems, anyway).
good job man, well done.
