G1 Devastator (Transformers) Custom Action Figure
Years ago I purchased this crappy knockoff of Devastator off of the net. When I got I was obviously disappointed so I gave it to my then 3 year old and he of course destroyed it. A couple of months ago I was going through his room and found some the pieces of it and was about to throw it out or use it as fodder. I also found a Bioncle figure in his room and then it hit me. I could combine the two to make a super articulate Devastator. So I attached the constructicon pieces onto the bionicle frame with nuts and bolts. Sculpted his forearms and shins and added fodder till he looked right. I cut his face and forehead out of the figure and reshaped it with fixit sculpt to more resemble him in the G1 cartoon. I mixed tamiya clear green and lemon yellow to get his color just right. He is kinda like a revotech figure with tons of articulation, he has ball joints in his head, shoulder, elbows, wrists, hips, and knees. Tell me what you think. Thanks for looking. Please wait... |

This is indeed epic!
My son made sure of that when he broke off all the little robot heads and arms. He broke off many other pieces I had to super glue back on just so Devastator would look sorta complete. But I have thought about purchasing another and remaking like this but still transforms. Thanks for the nice comment.
That said, I will still answer to Merge Prime if that's what you're gonna call me anyway.
Extra props for the creatvity and unique idea!
You see what I'm getting at.
My only left want would be a little more texture to the paint, but that woulda killed the initial transformerocity of it.
8.5 out of ten, exceptional but not peeeeeerfect.
