My first custom project, started before I had signed up for the FR forums or site. After seeing how cool VP's Boba Fett turned out I really wanted to have a go at my own(Mandalorian) and this was the end result.

Like VP, I used a Bullseye figure since they seem to be a good body for this. Almost every plate of armor has been sculpted. The chest plate, shoulder pads, gauntlets are all handmade. Most of the armor has been based loosly off VP's style since it wasnt to difficult and it looked good.

The head may have been the hardest part at the beginning. I really didnt have the skill to craft my own head out of nothing and all my Fett figures had really small heads so I couldnt use them. While looking around Walmart I happened across a Star Wars:Transformers Boba Fett and saw that the head looked like it would fit. When I got it out of the box and saw how well it fit I had my head, all I had to do was repaint it. I then started work on the armor which really isnt to bad since all the shapes are pretty easy to get and they line up with Bullseye's body structure. The gauntlets were the last thing I had to do. I wasnt quite sure how I was going to do them, wether I would use TMB's design, VP's or make my own. I ended up using a combo of VP's and my own. Most of the gauntlet is sculpty but the rocket on his left arm is a piece of rocket from a model Jet Fighter.

Originally I couldnt decide on a color but ened up with dark blue and black. I painted his body suit a dark blue while his armor got a flat black coat. His boots were painted gloss black because I was getting tired of flat black all around lol. Finally, his gun is from some knockoff GI Joe figure.

Articulation is still standerd Bullseye except for the head. The head has a 360 degree turn radius and can move up and down a good distance. His radio/antenne thing also has movement and can spin around.

The only thing that really bugs me about this guy is the neck, its to long. The pictures make it appear longer then it is but its still a bit long. I guess if you need an excuse, pretend his neck protector's built to REALLY protect his neck.

Overall, I like the way he turned out though I might fix the neck whenever I get some free time and decide to sit down and decide to work lol.

Other then the neck looking a little long, it looks good. You also might want to highlight the armor some.
