You've seen him before but here's the background on Jin's custom. He was the first figure I had ever sculpted anything on using Aves Apoxie sculpt for his chest/vest/pockets. The original figure was made a while ago, whenever Marvel Legends series 9 hit and I snagged the Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider.

Over the years tho the figure has gone through about four transformations or 'upgrades' if you will. Just recently the rubber from Ghost Rider's jacket degraded. You see I had sprayed it with spray-sealer before I knew NOT to use it on soft rubber parts. I had to rip the goo off him and completely resculpt the upper body including the large collar, legs, and jacket opening. Also the spikes gooed up so I replaced them with hard plastic spikes along with his arm-armor 'bolts'.

Jin was given a new articulated bandana, and a larger more poseable bendy-fabric scarf. Proper kanji has been painted on his back that translates to "Number one in the universe". And that's the history of this figure, now new and improved for your viewing enjoyment.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who wasted money after college (we had it in the school break room actually) playing this game. Very cool.

The head is from a 25th Anniv Ryu gashapon bust actually. I only did a little light sanding of the features and altered the bandanna in the back. The fabric is a satiny wedding ribbon material and resists getting dirty really well, probably because it's polyester or rayon, not cotton.
As for why I go by Jin, it's a nickname I picked up when I was back in Florida. After college or work I'd hit the arcades and play Marvel vs Capcom, the original. They held weekly tournaments and I tried my hand at one, playing a Jin/Venom team. Turns out nobody ever played Jin and didn't know how to defend against the character and I won the tourney. After a few local tourney wins it went from "Hey there's the guy who plays Jin!" to "Here comes Jin!" and the nickname stuck.

The head is amazing, did you sculpt that or is based in some figure, the new details are great, my concern is the white fabric, isn't that get dirty too easy, apart for that is a great custom, even better that some sota and marvel legends figures,is he your favorite character of capcom or why you take his name?
