Captain Enchilada Sauce is a character created by an advertising agency in the 'states for TACO BELL. They hired comic book artist Neil Adams to design a 'Super Friends'-esk team of heroes that would have their own online cartoon, and appear in Taco Bell menus and signage - very similar to the use of the Hamburgler and Ronald for McD's.

I was contacted by Gordon S.--- because he wanted four identical action figures made for him and the design team of "Captain Enchilada Sauce", a member of the "Super Delicious Ingredient Force".

Recipe
-DCUC Black Manta (x4)
-DCUC Superman (red Feet/ 0- ring)
-Jakks Pacific Rockey Figure (head + resculpt x 3 recasts)
-Aves Sculpt (front 'and back 'sauce bags', neck, chest, belt)
-Various tooth-washers, stacked/superglued together to create the fire-hose effect
-The tips of 8 different empty Superglue bottles were used to create the nozzle tips
-Automotive tubing from the hardware store (tubes)
-Short, wide screws (used to anchor the tubing twice in each forearm, and one at the shoulder/neck to maintain arm articulation)
-Smoothcast Oomoo silicon rubber molding material
-Smoothcast 305 liquid Plastic
-5x7" scale gift bag template (resized, modified to create the mini-Taco Bell takeout bags)
-ML Punisher figure stands (painted Black, and sealed with Citadel Spray sealant)

I had to get really creative with how I'd maintain articulated arms while having flexible sauce pipes anchored to the figures arms.

I anchored each screw using gel-type Superglue, and at the neck, sculpted over the when creating the nexus of the flexible tubing and the rigid sauce-bags.

After I fully sculpted one figure, and had the design approved, I cast the front/back of the figure + the resculpted head (altered hair + ears). I affixed sing Aves and Superglue those pieces to the other Enchilada men, and used Aves sculpt to ensure they all looked the same.

Creating all four figures was a time consuming process, as each stage in either casting or sculpting would require a 12-24 hour wait time while it cured. The final result looks great though, and all four figures are fully articulated.
