Plain claws are less expensive but hydrolics and reiforced gloves are not cheap not to mention my time manufactoring them.
But hey if your going to start your own buisness you might aswell know how to have fun with it.

I love the claws but I concur on the length issue a bit long.
As far as practicality its a comic whats practical?
In reallity I sell a pair of movie style claws that can retract thanks to hydrolics. Lets just say if this was in someones arm & skint out you might just die of blood loss but in a reinforced glove its all the rage, you can handle, plus 2 minute for the hydrolics to reload to do it again.

Hey nice!! The needle pack you want is the 'household repair' pack that comes with 6 or 7 different kinds. The ones with the flattned and slightly curved tip are sail needles. (as seen on my MvC Wolverine) The triangular tips (like you used there) are called sail needles too, or sometimes upholstery depending on the company making the needles. Either way you'll end up buying six packages and can make two sets of claws from them. Excellent work on the claws there, I happen to like that long length!

oh no...lol.. Not that again VP..lol I can show you like 100 pictures from comics where his claws are longer than his forarms. sure its more realistic but than again how realistic is a dude with retractable claws anyway..lol..

they look a little long on this figure though. I would suggest snipping them shorter on future figures. They would have to go up his arm into his bicep to be that long and then he wouldn't be able to bend his elbow.

you are right Gj - they are called sail needles... I just got a batch of 'em myself and was planning on doing the same. I think they look cool and they're less labor intensive than modifying bobby pins - no sanding, sharpening or painting involved.

I think its something called sail nails...lol got that info from jins website...correct me if I'm wrong...
