The Punisher: His eternal war against crime made possible by cloned SHIELD surrogates, Frank Castle is feared and worshiped among the megacities. He is a hypermedia sensation, the angel of death, and bringer of justice. Both respected and reviled among the Judges, the Punisher stalks the sub-levels of megacity zero, fighting his eternal war against crime. I'm glad you liked my Punisher. Your Logan was pretty rocking' too.
I initially designed this figure as another entry in the Post Apocalyptic contest, but focused instead on another figure (Wasteland Cyborg). Since there's a large crossover between Post-Apocalyptic and Cyberpunk, I dialed down the grit, and turned up the 'cyber' on this design. It's my first contest entry that's been finished since I moved to South Korea, so it's an extra special figure to me.
@nick073: I like the figure without the coat too, but I already had two coat-less variations on the PUNISHER, and I wanted to channel a '30s, monkey Tracy/pulp-vibe - hence the longcoat and hat. In the end, the look I went for was hardboiled detective crossed with a Neuromancer-esk "interface cowboy" / street samurai. I was actually surprised more entries didn't tip their hats to either the work of William Gibson or Bruce Sterling:
Thanks again for your kind votes everyone. :-D
Cheers,
-Blayne
really cool figure
