Took the liberty of changing around some parts and rearranged some modifications on this Micronaught. This custom was based on the illustration by Guido Guidi (famous for his Transformers drawings), with his heavy artillery version of the Baron. Chose a Batman Animated for the base, used a Spawn Black Knight mask, and also replaced with Spawn fists. The boots were from a Patlabor mecha, and collected the spikes from various weapons, Spawn accessories and even used the tips of knitting needles. Apoxie sculpt was used to reinforce the base of each spike, resculpted the head, arms/legs, and the weapons. The gatling gun was put together using several Bionicle pieces and was designed to be removable. Found the red chest piece modified from a bicycle light reflector. For the eyes, used some red tint (from a pair of ski goggles), put them inside the mask to make the eyes appear continually powered on. LED lights would also work, but it's always a bummer to replace batteries (also adds unnecessary weight to the figure). The drills were made using the spout from a silicone sealant. Various sized circles were cut from plastic, punched out the center to fit over the spouts, mimicking the blades on a drill. Additional sculpt and sand work to secure the blades. Wanted to go that extra mile for this custom, just to keep up with all the remarkable work in the Realm. Thanks for checking this out! Jan.10/2010 ![]() |
