First of my newest incarnation of the Dark Avengers, so here's the God of War. I took the hasbro Thors torso and arms and stripped them down to the bare minimum. I then Popped on the movie Juggernauts legs ( I say popped when what I actually mean is had to hack, chisel and sculpt the hell outta em to get them to both fit and retain articulation). I then set to work sculpting the left sleeve and breastplate. I then took the 1st original Marvel legends Thor and stripped off his hair and helmet and sculpted on his buzzcut and ears. I can help but notice my Ares looks a little akin to a certain californian govenator. But I don't think that is a bad thing. I then painted the whole of this bad boy with citadel paints and added the build a figure Ares' sword and helmet (both repainted) and Conan's axe with a new paint job too.

I love this big guy. Whadda you lot think?
