A few years ago I created my first custom, JUGGERNAUT; for this, I used PITT’s body and HULK Icons’ head and arms. Back then I did not know what materials to use or which paint effects were the right ones, but I did not give up and I proceeded to create my first custom. I log into this page every day and I try to learn (visually) about the different effects that many of the custom creators use. I also learn a lot from the comments all the custom creators leave, since I consider them pros in the matter at hand. Due to the positive comments and what I have learned, I decided to improve my original JUGGERNAUT, so I manned up and decided to remove the paint I had originally used, remove the bands (which were originally made out of a material used to fix car bumpers), and basically start from stratch. Here, you may appreciate my juggernaut’s evolution. This time around I used GF9 Green Stuff, apoxie, Revell paint and testers for the bands. I added additional details to my original and created a new helmet (which I crafted myself). I know I have a lot to learn, but those of us that enjoy this hobby know that every time you craft a new custom, you improve your skill over the previous one we made, thus we learn from each experience. Thanks for sharing your figures with everyone and helping me learn how to improve my own customs. Material : GREEN STUFF AND APOXIE, PAINT REVELL MATT. ![]() |
