Crusher Creel gained his absorbing powers by drinking a special Asgardian potion prepared by Loki. Creel then battled Thor and the Avengers many times. Later, Creel was transported by the Beyonder to Battleworld, to fight in the Secret Wars. During this time, Dr. Doom was experimenting on Mary MacPherran, both of whom were also transported to Battleworld. Doom used the alien technology to transform Mary into the super-strong, super-villain Titania. Titania and Absorbing Man were instantly attracted to each other, and later became married, a happy couple living a life of crime.
For these figures, Titania's base was LCBH Ann O'Brien. The shoulders and biceps were replaced with Namor's, and the boots are from Banshee. The belt and thigh-boots were crafted from rubber bungee. The edges on the costume and mask were from label tape, and the costume spikes are from the craft store.
For Absorbing Man; while the Hasbro ML looks good, I don't think it has the right 'bulk' to it, nor is it 'ugly' enough, so I used the earlier Hulk series figure. I 'straightened' the legs to make him stand taller, but that wasn't enough, so I added more height by adding the belt and surrounding area from an unknown figure.
