Here's my take on G.I. Joe's Sailor Shipwreck as he appeared in the 80's cartoon The Pyramid Of Darkness. Shipwreck & Snake-Eyes had to disguise themselves as Cobra workers in order to escape a Cobra hideout. Recipe: Base figure- Hasbro Marvel Secret Wars 2 Pack Mr. Fantastic Polly- repainted Comic Pack Shipwreck Base- Comic Pack Shipwreck Rifle- DVD Stalker Pistol- 25th Airborne Mods: Head- Removed hair details from forehead, sculpted new nair & beard with white stuff sculpting compound. Completely repainted. Torso- Repositioned neck and sculpted new chest, vest, collar and simplified the stomach and back with white stuff sculpting compound. Arms- Simplified muscle definition with white stuff sculpting compound. Minor mods- Dremeled and sanded down flashing from mold lines. Painting: Figure was base coated with Tamiya German Gray. Tamiya and Testors paints used for lighter gray parts of uniform. Boots, gloves and belt were painted black and sealed with Microscale Industries Micro Flat. Polly was repainted using acrylics. Cobra symbol is a water slide decal. Thanks for taking a look! ![]() |
