Tales from the Jedi...

I have wanted to do a Crimson Dynamo in the 80s style for a minute or two. I was staring at the Stealth select, which I picked up for like 4 bucks (luck of the Irish, I guess!) and saw my base. I sculpted onto his helmet, added a layer to his chest (for bulk-he was kinda skinny), then the Russian star on top of that. I sculpted his shoulder guards in the gear-shaft style, added an armour plate to the crotch, and then sculpted the gi-normous forearm and shin-calf armour braces, really completing the look. The whole thing was sprayed matte black, then drybrushed flat aluminum. I then used two small bottles of clear red, over and over, to get the look. I used some gloss red on some spots that I wanted the red to over power the metal look, or for contrasting parts. He ended up looking dentedand beat up--exactly the way he WOULD be!
