I have always loved the design of the Ultimate Spider-Man version of Rhino, but when ToyBiz released the figure I was horribly disappointed. His sculpt was passable, but his articulation was horrible and he was barely 6 inches tall. I had Spider-Man figures who were the same height. I always wanted a better version and this contest gave me the opportunity to finally get one.

Started with a SMC Buzzing Beetle. Removed the wings, head, and electronics and tooled him down quite a bit. Gave him the head of the original SMC Ultimate Rhino and built up the neck and horns with sculpey. Sculpted (with Mighty Putty) the chest, back, forearms, hands, knees, lower leg, feet, and a few other details. Carved pipes into his upper leg. Took the shoulder pads from the original SMC Ultimate Rhino. Full paint.

Now I have an Ultimate Rhino who dwarfs Spidey...like he should.
