This is Shredder as he appears in the original Mirage Comics by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. This one is one that I really wanted to do. The base figure is actually a Frankenstein of different figures. For starters, I had 2 different generic kung-fu action figures that I combined to make the body. I chopped off the head of the upper-body I used. I replaced it with the head of a 2003 Playmates Shredder action figure. Then I added the spikes from that same figure onto this figure as was needed. Then it took a paintjob to actually make it all come together and not look like a train-wreck.
