Puck (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:2440
Name:Puck
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:BYGTOPP
Date Added:April 25, 2007
Base Figure:modok, showdown juggernaut,lotr head
Height:3.50 inches
I wanted to make a Puck for a long time. No hockey joke needed.
used a lotr head sculpted - I sacrificed my showdown juggernaut for the base. I then had to cut the ball sockets on juggies legs in half and then did the same to modok- I glued modoks legs joints to juggie and sculpted the area better. then added the legs and wonderman arms to the base fig
after that I painted the body a dark blue and the p an orange
after I took the pics I noticed I should have did the sculpt a hair better on his fore head but it look nice and is in size with everyone I have

I just hated having to sacrificed my juggie - he is one of my faves

Looks cool, I really think Puck is an underrated character (no pun intended)
If you're looking for alternate heads, Kraven might work. The bushy 'stash and wide mouth might look cool. Might want to try a digi mockup first though.

Woah! Awesome use of Modok legs - trying to figure out how to make a puck to go with my Alpha Flight team - I had toyed with modifying the XMC Juggernauth head with less of a snarl but this looks awesome. If the Showdown figures ever reach the UK I'll be trying this one out!
Looking forward to your head shop too deadeye

It is a decent head man - no diss was intended - but if I was to be critical its the only real thing that leaps out at me about the figs drawbacks... everything else is great
hell I seen professionally made toys with worse faces - so its better than those pal
Havent got a website up yet Bygtopp - But I'm just constructing My Myspace page the now
I'll be designing a proper one shortly once I can figure this new technology out - to set up shop in my custom design business
I'm just starting to get into website design - its a new area for me
I do have an arts degree in sculpture tho (with a qualification also in pictorial illustration) - so I do know a thing or two about scratch building stuff - anatomical proportion, proportional exaggeration and casting methods - I've worked in clay, wood, metal and fibreglass most of my career before my sight failed... but now I got that back (albeit in one eye)
I'm willing to share any knowledge I have with you bud
Yeah like I said - I didn't mean the head comment as a diss in anyway
Its pretty cool size wise - just doesn't look face wise like Puck from the comics is all
Only thing that stands out as a low point on the fig - its superbly constructed otherwise
Puck has more dwarvenish features if memory serves - smallish eyes under a pronounced, bushy brow, stronger square jawline and quite a big mouth for his face
But thats easily fixable
You want to talk in real time bub - I'm cool with that - I'm on AIM, MSN and Yahoo
I'll talk you thru stuff you want to know about
Feel free to hit me up on that
Take care man

dead eye - you got a website ?
I thought it was a decent head for what I had in my inventory
itll work but what ever critiques you have that is the only way to learn
I aint mad - let me know what head would be better
let me know about the cast stuff

I used to like the Puck character when I read the Alpha Flight and Wolvie team stories
Always thought he was a cool character but badly designed
He was always referred to as the "sex Dwarf" by several folk I know
Great custom man - I liked the use of Modoks legs and the other parts - only thing I could crit if I was a super nitpick - is the choice of head - but its serviceable
If I come across a better substitute one - I'll fire you a PM - but I also make custom heads if you want me to make one for you
All in all this looks cool tho
