The Legends of the Dark Knight line by Kenner was an attempt to make something that would appeal more to adult collectors and was in the 6-7 inch scale. The sculpts were generally pretty good, if sometimes exaggerated, but the paint made it all too clear that this was a product of the 90s, in the same vein as the retina-scorching colours and designs from the comic books of that era. I was able to pick up an LOTDK Catwoman loose, and set about repainting her. I think she looks much, much better in all-black. I also repainted the face; the original had a very flat skin tone and the lips were not even coloured different. The green on the eyes was also almost too flourescent. The whip she is holding is temporarily borrowed from the DCUC Catwoman that came from the 5-pack. There is a problem thouhg, I used goauche paint that seems to never, ever dry on plastic and always smudges off onto my fingers. I suppose I will have to find proper acrylic paints.
