One of my favorite movies of all time is Stargate. And my favorite figure as A kid was the Anubis figure from the movie. Although back then toys kinda sucked especially as far as movie figures go they were never accurate but I still loved that figure. But due to my parents wanting to purge our toys all the time they were lost to where ever they are now. So all these years later I got into A Stargate mood and wanted to repurchase that figure cause even as A kid I wanted to make him look like he did in the movie which by the way that headdress and costume are BAD@%$.
So when I got the figure I repainted him to the movie colors. Then I sculpted his chest plate and sculpted then part behind his neck where in the movie the helmet folded down into then I sculpted over the stupid open hole in the helmet where you could see the persons face through. I also sculpted the wings on the helmet and added the ribbons. Once I got it all together I repainted the whole thing. finally I repainted the characters face and added ribbons to his head gaurd or what ever it is. In all I spent 2 days on this figure and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
