I wanna bring the Spawn the Dark Ages back.

David Finch is one of my favorite artist and the protagonists from Ascension issue 22 is used as the concept reference.

At last, Iron mask was merging Lord Covenant's Spawn the Black Knight with the characters from Ascension.

The Recipe:

The upper body is from Savage Dragon and the lower portion of the custom is from Omega Red.

The vest and loincloth are from LOTR Haradrim Archer and the belt was kindly donated by Spawn the Bloodaxe.

Many sculpting works with assist from magic sculpt. Spikes, chains, thigh pouch and skull plus a "M" on the chest to give it a more accurate touch.

I added axe and some accessories .... and even added a pet, Hellcat, to Iron mask.

The Story:

Darken was the most powerful warrior of the Dark Iron tribes. During a battle, he enraged a powerful wizard from the enemy tribes when he rescued the daughter of his tribal chief coveted by the wizard.

Swearing vengeance, the wizard managed to entrap Darken, destroyed him and in the process eliminated the entire tribe of the Dark Irons. And to ensure the complete destruction of Darken, the wizard branded a face mask on him, preventing his soul from escaping and condemning him to eternal torment.

What the wizard failed to prepare was Femalebolgia, one of the rulers of hell. Femalebolgia offered Darken a chance to seek revenge ¡V killed one thousand souls on her behalf and she would return him everything that he lost. Darken accepts the pact and returned as Spawn the Iron Mask.
