So this is a figure I made back in 2007. After my wife put much of my personal customs in a box last year all they have been doing is collecting dust. So I decided recently to take some of the older ones and try to spruce them up, make them cleaner and tighter then before. Ill be the first to admit my skills were lacking early on. I have matured so now I was ready to give them the treatment they deserve. Plus some of them I decided to sell. So here is a jim lee battle damaged superman as he appeared in his battle with Zod during Jim Lees run on the Superman Comic. If you have the comic you know the damage is comic page accurate. I took the orginal figure I made which really because of my poor painting skills at the time was more a statue, and cleaned up the majority of the joints, and cleaned the texture of the figure, and gave it a ligher blue hue, and and darker red on the boots. The figure unlike before can be articulated and posed, (except for the left elbow, because desgin reasons). I also was not content with the sad dc direct style stand so I crafted a cooler stand that has it looking like he is hovering just a couple inches off the ground, but away from the stand that gives it a very cool free form look. It looks awesome in person.

Nice figures. What is the average cost? Do you sell them? If so, where at? Put it on eBay.

that is some really cool looking battle damage,I love how the tears in his costume are not just painted on,you did a very good job on it,and it looks great all around, this is the kind of supes figure I would want,I have a bunch of 60s and 70s superman comics with him getting beat up on the cover, this would be perfect to finish off my display, great work!
