So I was going through all the cartoon shows that I used to watch the other day when I saw "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy" and said wow that Grim Reaper would look so cool if he weren't a cartoon. Then I thaught further and said, wow it would be even cooler if there was a 6 inch figure of him. And thats when I decided to start this guy. The image of him in my mind was exactly like the one on the show, but even grimmer than the original. So I started looking for the right head. His facial features had to be perfect to make it work out. I was looking through my fodder when I saw the MOTUC Skeletor head and said, darn thats a good looking face. If only he had a more evil, loose hood! Then I see the ML Taskmaster hood and put 2 and 2 together. At first I though that the body choice was also important, but seeing that the cloak would later cover him whole, I just picked up this really sucky ML Spiderman. . The legs mattered little as well due to the fact that he cloak would cover it as well. His color scheme was actually very, very easy. All black except for the inside of the hood and the head and hands. Gave the head a bit of a drywashed black to bring out its very immpressive detailed sculpt. The Four Horseman never fail at sculpting the faces on all of these characters. his hands were painted white and sharpied over to give it a bony look. Gave the scythe a splattered blood look. And painted the inside of the hood red to match the shows depiction of the reaper. All in all I personally think that it came out great. I'm pleased with the face I chose, the characters image, and the pictures I took. But thats for all of you to decide. Let me know what you think. *NOTICE: DCUC scale Blight coming very soon! Keep an eye out!* ![]() |
