First appearing in Captain America Annual #4 as Magneto's second incarnation of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants that team of supervillains later became independent of Magneto renaming themselves Mutant Force. Paralyzer's mutant ability enables him to generate powerful fields of bio-electromagnetic energy that he can channel through his claws as shock bolts.
