I made this from Mr. Incredibles car. I started by taking it completely apart and dremmeling out the inside. Then I installed a battery pack and 3 LEDs. Two of them light up the headlights and the other one lights up the flames coming out the back. I had to do a lot of dremmeling to fir the light in the back. Fore the lenses of the headlights I used part of some clear plastic tubes that beads come in. For the flames in the back I used a plastic bubble thing covered in hot glue with some peaces of flames from other figures. After that I added the chair from a TMNT Crang and gave him a steering wheel that was part of a transformer. Then I resculpted the dashboard to look how I wanted. Next I dremmeled off the big fan thing on the front of the car and sanded it smooth. This turned out to be very hard sense this kinds of plastic is extremely hard and nearly impossible to sand. Then I resculpted the aria around the headlights and filled in some gaps where I had dremmeled. I also sculpted those round things on the front. After this I cut the back fins from extremely durable plastic that my dad uses in knife handalls. Last but far from least I painted it. I used a spray paint for model cars for the base coat and then did the rest by hand. I sealed it when I was done to protect the glossy Finnish. I painted the flames using ink so that it remains clear. This project took over a month to complete but I am happy with the results. Now I finally have a batmobile that fits my dcuc and looks how I want it to. I hope you all like this as much as I do. More pics inside thread. Please wait... |
