Here's the first two figures of my X-Calibur, medieval themed, X-Men concept. Neither was too hard, just coming up with the concepts, some retooling on the bodies, some sculpting, and some painting.

King Arthur Summers: Arthur became king while still a young man, pulling the mighty X-calibur from its stone. Not much later, he developed a terrible eye disorder, discharging "flame" in every direction that he looked. Forced to keep his eyes shut, it wasn't until the mystical Merlin McMagnus of the North forged him a special visor, using his special talents in metallurgy and alchemy, that King Arthur was able to see the world again. Knowing full well the terrible power that he possesses, Arthur vowed never to use his power on the battle field out of respect for the other soldiers. Now, the perilous King Bastion the Pious and his enchanted stone Sentinel have threatened the peace of Arthur's kingdom, where others with strange gifts and ailments have sought refuge.

Sir Logan Lancelot: King Arthur's best friend and trusted confident, Lancelot is of a pedigree which has always protected the throne. Fierce in battle and wielder of the tri-bladed sword, there are none who dare challenge him. Rumor has it that soldiers have seen him sustain heavy damage, only to be in perfect health hours later. In a show of loyalty to the King, he only removes his helmet in private when speaking directly to the throne. Even though Logan still pines for Arthur's wife, Queen Jeanne Guinevere, he serves as protectorate faithfully and led every defense against King Bastion's charges thus far to victory.
