Next up in my continuing quest to do all the major MOTU players it Sean Coner......wait, I mean Stratos. This one came together pretty quick over the last week, I didn't even stop to take WIP shots for this one. The Paint job took the longest here, lot's of detail to pick out and far too many S logos, I mean surely you don't need your initials on every piece of technology, or maybe that's jus the way it works in Avion? Anyhoo, here's the recipe Base = DCUC Dr. Impossible, any would do but this seemed best as it's mostly black. Head = 200x Stratos Dremmel to fit DCUC neck and peg. Lower arms and wings = 200x Stratos grafted onto Dr. Imp upper arms and sculpted fur. Harness, belt, loin cloth = 200x Stratos. Backpack = 200x Stratos, dremmel to back of harness to fit, still fires but I might jus glue that up?? Lower legs = 200x Stratos. Feet = 200x Stratos grafted onto Dr. Imp. Sculpted fur around bottom of thrusters and on top of feet. Painted with Citadel paints and sealed with satin varnish. Plenty more MOTU still to come including man-at-arms and standard Skeletor More pics inside the thread.  |
