Shadowcat/Kitty Pryde (2015) (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:29024
Name:Shadowcat/Kitty Pryde (2015)
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:pasqualester
Date Added:April 23, 2011
Base Figure:Invisible Woman, from the FF movie/ML First Class Jean Grey/ML Black Widow
Height:5.70 inches
Looks like Jessica Alba, because it's just a re-painted Invisible Woman from the film version of FF. Lockheed was just an original sculpt, using putty for most of him and then just cereal box card for his wings, and small tubes for his horns. Any feedback would be appreciated, especially on the paint job. Not really sure how to do it well yet...

UPDATE - I've since made another Shadow Cat, easiest custom I've ever done. I got a ML Jean Grey body from the First Class X-Men box set, put on the Black Widow Winter Soldier spare head, painted the hair brown and bingo. I need to make her a Lockheed though, unless I just reuse the previous one I've made. Any ideas how to make a decent Lockheed at the right scale will be welcome!! I've left the original picture at the bottom.

I'm not really looking to become a professional customiser or anything, but I always want to be able to improve, so if you like something about the way I've done a custom, please tell me so I can do that more. If you look at this custom and compare it to some of my older ones, I hope you can see I am getting better at it (even if this one was fairly easy), and it's largely thanks to comments from people on here. So if you think I could have done something better, tell me, and if you've got suggestions on how to improve I'd love to hear them!!

did you paint the head/face yourself? it is very good, what kind of paint do you use?the only thing I would suggest is tryin testors dullcoat if you want it dulled, and that is totally up to the customizer depending on the effect you want, and you can always paint gloss over any areas you want to shine back up,not criticizing though! it does look good,I just noticed you asked for comments on the subject! great job,one of my favorite x characters brought to plastic life!
