Took a MP Skywarp did the hip kibble mod to shorten the tail wings and remove those awful hip pegs. Figure was totally disassembled, wetsanded, primed and give several shades of black and grey for the main body, a light grey for the chest parts and ofcours a bright purple for his distinction. 2 to 3 days cure between each coat was given to ensure full cure before next paint application. This took about 3 weeks. After that it was matte clear coat time! Repeat process of apply a coat wait 2-3 days then apply another, multiple coats were given to help protect against paint scratches. (this figure has some tight spots when transforming)! Hence all the wetsanding and clear coats! After a few clear coats, figure was allowed ample cure time then assembled and that's right you guessed it a couple more clear coats! Take a look at the base as well, it's been done up to matche the G1 scheme and help stand out along with the figure!
