No pre-Z DB characters on FigureRealm? Well, we'll just have to fix that!

The Battle Jacket was something I wanted a toy of for a long time. I could never afford one as a young lad, and even after I had grown up and saw it on clearance in a closing KayBee, I didn't have any money. It wasn't until 2009 that I finally was able to score one for twelve bucks online.

I thought it strange, however, that it came not with the Battle Jacket's normal pilot, Staff Officer Black (aka Adviser Black, Adjutant Black, and a bunch of other names), but instead Android 17. What a weird and completely random figure to include. So, I set about making a Black to pilot the battle Jacket.

It's really nothing but a repainted Superman Returns Lex Luthor. I know the eyes are a bit... wonky, but I have an extraordinarily hard time painting them. If I get better, I might go back and retouch, but I feel it's fine for now.

The Battle Jacket was not customized in any way and is only part of the photography as a prop.
