Cable (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:29969
Name:Cable
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:VariablePenguin
Date Added:June 3, 2011
Base Figure:XMC Beast, Omega Red feet, Bishop arms, wrestler head
Height:6.30 inches
Cable here is a figure I meant to do for a while and after seeing Shinobitron's, I finally had the inspiration to get it made. Swapped out the parts detailed over there. Sanded down Bishops rolled up sleeves and most of the gloves. Sculpted on the techno-organic virus infected arm. Wrestler head was from some fat guy named Taz? I sculpted hair on him, scarred his eye and sanded off his goatee and some fat.

Also, I find it hilarious that I haven't posted here in literally something like 4 years and I'm still in the top 20 of # of posts from a user.

"Prodigals" Ha Ha! Yeah, I've just been busy at the 'Soup and haven't had a chance much to participate around here. I figured it was bad form to just post figures and not comment on anything else. But it's been slow over there lately and when I went to this convention this past weekend, nobody knew what Toy Soup was, but everyone was familiar with Figure Realm.

This is the rawk. That's amazing looking. Love how you sculpted the arm!
I personally appreciate it cause I am making a cable using bishop and x-3 juggernaught parts.
I dremeled my arm cause I dreaded trying to sculp over bishops arm and losing articulation.
But it looks like you did it with ease! Also do love the taz head :]

Nice use of the Bishop figure for Cable. I did the same thing the other day, but yours is much better. I may wait a few weeks before posting mine Oh and lol @ "Some fat guy named Taz".
Great figure!
