Beast - Victorian Era (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:29993
Name:Beast - Victorian Era
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:VariablePenguin
Date Added:June 5, 2011
Base Figure:Sota Ryu body, XMC Stealth Beast head, hands, feet
Height:6.10 inches
Beast here is the first in my planned (actually will be done this time) series of Victorian Era X-Men. Not Steam Punk really, just "What if?" The X-Men came to be in Victorian England.

Beast here is dressed in the high fashion of the age. He doffs a top hat (which doesn't fit, nobody makes his size), and coat with tails, and a cane with a hidden dagger/syringe.

Beast was made using the body of a Sota Ryu, adding the head, hands, and feet of an XMC Stealth Beast (after some heavy modification to the Ryu body to make them fit), and the jacket and vest from a ML Dracula figure. The cane was made from a broken paint brush w/ a metal bead spacer and a sewing pin with Apoxie Sculpt on the end. The tophat was sculpted entirely of Apoxie Sculpt w/ a magent embedded in it and in Beast's head so it won't fall off in more interesting poses. There are also magnets in his feet for additional fun poses and the spats on his feet were also sculpted on.

I have sketches done for all the original First Class members including Xavier and will be posting others soon.
