a friend of mine wanted a gnome figure. she said she'd make it a mascot of some sort and take it with her on vacations and include it on the photos wherever she goes. hey, that's cool. my custom gets to travel a lot! nice! :)

base figure is an old (i think it's older than me) plastic figurine we have lying around in the house.

the original head has this cute face/head already, but it's too big and won't fit on the pouch that i've found, so instead of just repainting it and sculpting the hat over the head i cut off it's head and replaced it with a smaller plastic egg. well, at least it got more personalized that way. :)

she said she wanted it to have a big grin on it's face with all it's teeth showing off, like it's a very mischievous gnome.

i just painted it with acrylics. sculpted the hat on the upper part of the egg so that it would still be removable. you can open the head and put small things inside it, like the velvet pouch that serves as a bag for the whole figure... you can put it inside the head when not in use.
other details were also sculpted, like the vest, ears, shoes, etc..

sorry for the crappy pics this time. didn't have time to set up the tent and i was in a hurry that day. i gave it to her after taking the picture.
i'll just ask her to take clearer pics of the gnome when she goes on a vacation.

thanks for looking guys! hope you like it even if it's not the usual poseable action figures. i had fun making them (gnome and zombie fan) :)
