Rise of the White Lantern:
Victor von Doom (a.k.a Dr. Doom) Orange Lantern Prime/Marvel Sector 2814:
When the white lantern declared that balance must occur it created new rings to balance the spectrum. The first of the orange rings to find a bearer found it's way to Latveria and the Halls of Victor von Doom. Intrigued by this bauble that presented itself to him, von Doom reached out and was enveloped in a brillant flash of orange light. Whaen he look arround his hall had been transformed and new banners hung along the walls. BAnner bearing a strange yet familiar symbol; a symbol Doom himself now wore; as well as a strange orange lantern sitting on his throne. He soon realized that this ring and lantern were a powerful weapon and using his knowledge of science and mysticism was able to track the other orange rings across the earth. He was able to trap and imprison one in an enchanted jar where it now flies arround constantly like a buzzing fly. The other ring did find a host, but Doom's will was teh stronger and his desire for power brought the other Orange ring under his control, making him Lantern Prime. How Doom will use this new power is uncertain, but his desire for power and world conquest has never been stronger.

The figure was made from a Marvel Select Dr. Doom, as was the throne. The banners were made of foamy and hand painted. (I'd like to redo them soon, but I'm alomst out of the yellow I mixed to make the orange.) The wine goblet hand came witht he original figure. The "marble' pedastles were made from black recipet tape cores with sculpting, painted with pearlescant white. The orange ring is a bead with a hot glue energy trail, and the glass case is a dispenser bubble and paint. Orange Lantern is from the DCD OL Lex Luthor.

and if you look at the third photo you'll get a sneak-peek at Indigo Tribe Thing.

Neat Story on these ML Orange Lanterns. I would recommend copper paint app on all the metal parts with a coat of clear orange to give it a better orange color. Just an opinion. the overall design works for me but the orange just doesn't pop or scream doom to me. I think this would fix that, but again just an opinion
