Hello.I would first like to acknowledge the works of Madtinker who came up with this recipe.Absolute respect man. Please think of this as an homage. I started with a ML venom, the one with the moving jaw contraption in it.I removed the head and ground down almost all of the neck, which allowed me to remove most of the action jaw parts and shorten the length of the neck.I then built the neck up again using magic-sculpt. Later I used the dremmel to add the details/lines of the neck. The head is from some random wrestler figure but it has such a painfully perplexed look on it's face it screamed Bizarro to me.Dremmeled the back and underside of the head so it would fit tightly on the sculpted neck and attached the head to the body. From the neck down(except the hands)the figure was painted black and dry-brushed blue. While the head, neck, and hands were base coated in blue and dry-brushed white. The boots, belt, and belt loops were sculpted. The "S" is made of adhesive backed vinyl and hand painted. I tried to paint in some dark circles under his eyes and other small details on the face but I don't think they show up well in the photos.Oh well. Finally the cape is just red cloth cut and glued to the figure. I LOVED making this figure,it was really fun and funny and I hope you guys like him too. ![]() |
