Ok first off I hope Warhammer 40,00 counts as tabletop, cus i used to play the shite out of it when i was in my teens. My favourite army, the galactic vikings known as the Space Wolves. When i saw this comp i knew i had to unleash the kid in me. Sadly i have been ill most of the month and getting the paintjob the way i wanted never quite happened. But live and learn better to submit than regret.

Ok so for Timett I took most of a comic book 1st appearance iron man and swapped the lower legs with deep sea iron man. The head came from a weapon x wolverine and the troublesome shoulder pads came from judge dredd, they were either his knee or elbow pads, not sure which tho. I did have to take a bit of artistic liscence here tho, as if i had added the full size shoulder pads all pivoting movement would be lost in the shoulder. Like wise he backpack (made from a galactic clone marine and 2 joe helmets) has also been scaled down, to allow for rolling movement in both shoulders. Had i been true to the original sorce my Space Wolf would only have elbow movement in his arms. Which would suck.

Ok then i got sculpty happy. Both thighs, the eyepatch beard and hair, the chestplate, waist, crotch, both pelts and the belt were all painstakingly sculpted.

The grenade is part of a trident glued on a res evil health spary. The bolt pistol is a G36 cut down and sculpted, the frost hammer is the shaft of the trident with mjollnirs head attached.

Comment and vote please guys :)

Yeah, like I said in the blurb, its from a judge dredd figure, either the elbow or knee pads, I think the elbows, dremelled down then I used putty to built an elevated joist so as to retain art
