This was the first MU-scale custom I did. Sanded all the red paint off Guardian, dyed the figure yellow, added the wings and sculpted the head. Also added thigh cut joints (although they're a little wonky). Universe scale is a lot less forgiving than 6"...

Dyed the figure? That's pretty cool. Did you have to boil it to do that? Good job on the custom.

Nope... The figure was cast in white plastic, so I removed all the red paint, then used a yellow vinyl spray. It turned out to be slightly on the orange side of things, so I still had to drybrush it with a slightly lighter yellow afterwards...

Yep, this scale is a pain in the...You did a fantastic job here! The paint is awesomely clean and I am digg'n the extra articulation!
