Ares (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Hi guys, just finished may Ares figure. It took me almost three weeks to finish this custom. Hope you guys like it. I used two figures for this custom; the upper body was taken from Abyss figure while the lower body is taken from XMC Colossus. The whole armor was sculpted even the emblem on his chest. The spikes on his armor are metal beads and the axe were made from chopstick and epoxy Nice huh Ü.  Please wait... |

I'm just NOT a big fan of this comicbook interpretation of Ares - and I heard folk say that Thor and Hercules' costumes were cheesey
I think Ares wins the rpize of worst dressed Deity - I mean its almost like a kiddies playsuit with the skull thingy
The DC version of Ares is far cooler
But regardless man of what I think is a wasted opportunity by the comic creators designing the Marvel Ares costume - you did a hell of a nice job on this
well done man - love the metal spike details, removeable helm and sculpted armor
