Going thru my vats of figures and pieces i came across a McFarlane Scorpion Samurai figure that I bought about a year ago to make the Samurai. I wanted to make a Silver Samurai that captured a fuedal Japan feel rather than his classic duds.

Head: WWE Pillman, Samurai helm, WWE figure back hair, Ripclaw front hair pieces (he actually has a fully sculpted face cover under the helm as well)
Body: McFarlane Scorpion Samurai

Gave him a head to toe repaint using various shades of Silver and red, then finished up with a final black wash to bring some of the finer details to life.

I love this custom and the flag on the back gives him even a more touch of realism! I'd like to see this same version with a variant flag scheme on his chest too. This does take the cake and eat it too! You are taking these new customs to the limit! Keep it rolling!

Is the Samurai helm removable? Did you add articulation to the mcfarlane base fig? Regardless this has to be one of your top customs in my book!

Thanks man! To answer your questions the helm is permanently attached to his head. The hair, helm, and face guard are all one piece. I actually sculpted hair under the long hair but opted to make him with long hair instead.
I didn't add any artic I did however clear some room so he could move further and easier. He has near 30 POA in all.

Grrr! I put this recipe together last week for shapp!? Well using the scorpion as a base with parts from the jackel.
But didn't think of using the scorpion as the main fig. You are not only an amazing customizer but a visonary.
truly some to aspire to work like. It looks awesome!it looks like what he SHOULD LOOK LIKE.

Hey Shin! This is indeed a brilliant custom ! I recently made a figure using this base and good thing it's not Silver Samurai as this one is too badass. Generally we think of Silver Samurai as a smooth dude but this proves that even a complex sculpt works for him. Great job as always my friend.
