Iron Man (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:32900
Name:Iron Man
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:fastfreddie
Date Added:September 19, 2011
Base Figure:ML Toybiz Iron Man
Height:6.50 inches
I took apart the ML Iron Man and added the torso from a WWE Jakks figure. I had to sculpt a mask, since the one for the base figure was not included with it(got it online). Filled in the peg holes and sculpted the things around his shoulders. primed it in silver, airbrushed it and shaded the muscles and gave it a wet shine seal coat.

Question 4 u, Mr. Mayor: Why do u remove stomach articulation on your customs? Aesthetics? I like what u did on the rest of the fig and the mask is cool tho he kinda loox like he's smiling... I always thought we should be able to peek @the man behind the machine! Keep up the bossomeness!

Hey 'Mist... the torso from this particular wrestler didn't have that articulation, which if it did, I probably would've sealed it up anyways. The reason is, I don't like those gaps in figures and that's mainly a personal preference. I did glue down the torso to the waist to keep it from twisting becuase I don't like those waists that turn either. It don't make much sense to me and doesn't look right in my mind for some reason. Well, you know if we all made customs the same way, there wouldn't be much variety in what we do and wouldn't be much sense in calling them customs either. Yeah, I did cut those eye and mouth holes out. I figured what the heck since I had to make the mask anyways.

The swap to get the original weirdly articulated torso worked out. The suit parts you added to the new chest, keep what looked good from the original piece. Nice work and your colour choices nail his classic tones!

Now I love this...I hated that ML Series 1 Iron Man and this new torso seems to have fixed it, it seems like this is how classic Iron Man is supposed to look.
