Height:13.00 inches
Took the 12" Burke figure to use as a good base figure instead of trying to frame and sculpt it from scratch. I separated the waist and extended the torso by an inch. Took off the head, sculpted over it completely. Removed the arms, extended and repositioned those behind his back for a regal pose. Sculpted over the whole body using putty and super sculpey firm and others. Vinyl for the tunics. Made the base from celluclay and heavy stock paper for the backdrop. Primed the whole thing grey and then airbrushed and hand detailing for weathered, worn look. Darkseid says "Super or otherwise, you're merely a man, and I am a god!"

Nahiice! This is great. One humble suggestion? Narrower red eyes might look a bit meaner or more intense. (Don't know if it's working but I have been trying to convey more through eyes lately) Stunning otherwise.

WOW I love it bud. But as always I have to critique it and the only down fall on this for me is the articulation. You killed it Jim! you killed it! But other than this awesome fig, and seriously if the only complaint I have is articulation you know you are doing awesome.

yeah well, the guy who originally commissioned it didn't want any articulation in the statue. It really probably didn't belong in the gallery here because it is a statue, but I used an articulated figure to make it.
