I've always liked Jean Grey. I can't completely put my finger on why, but its true. Like most things in Japan, I found the PVC Phoenix figurine I used the head of, and the Hitomi figure both by chance. After some tearful carving (the Phoenix figurine was beautiful), I just switched the heads. I'm not satisfied with her yet, but here she is- for now.

Thanks guys. I always appreciate the encouragement. Yeah ToymakerB, I'm pretty tempted to turn her into Mary Jane. But I think I'll make my other favorite red-head another way.

Yeah... I wish I could take credit for that, but I can't. The bulk of my work on this figure has been the modifying of the head and hair so that it could fit on the new body. I'm kinda torn between leaving the figure alone, and painting her all up to look like the picture to the right. Hmm... what a dilemma- tank top Jean Grey(with gloves- why not?) or long-sleeved t-shirt Jean Grey?
