Suzanne Chen is a mutant with the ability to slow or stop time in a limited radius. She can also see phantom-like replays of recent events. She was recruited by Professor X to join Vulcan's team of X-men save the original X-men team. Sway managed to slow time enough for Darwin and Vulcan to survive the island's attack and Darwin then absorbed her essence to stay alive when the island was shot into space.
