TMNT Feudal Style

I sketched out Splinter to go along with the feudal turtles. I didn’t want to change his over-all look too much. The idea was for him to be a younger version, who is rather unassuming in appearance, but can throw down in a split second if needed. I imagined him as sort of a wanderer with his straw hat and walking stick/sword (you get the idea).

This is, easily, the most “Frankensteined” out figure I’ve ever put together.

Head: Original design and sculpt
Body: Toybiz Bishop’s torso, shoulders and upper legs
Arms: Mid-arms from WWE figure. Lower arms/hands from another WWE figure
Lower Legs: Old battle damage Spider-man
Sculpt: All costume details, hat, sword handle and sheath. Used bendable sculpey for the belt straps, tail and bottom of robe.

Thanks for checking him out.

Thanks fellow custom wizards! Looks like I need to get started on some more feudal figures (according to some of you). I do have one more that's near completion. I suppose I could crank out a few more in 2012.

As a life long Turtle fan, and purveyor of vast Turtle knowledge, I approve whole-heartedly of this and this it is an amazing piece to add with the Turtles. I would love to see Shredder, Krang, Karai or the Foot, as well as any other supporting characters.

Very cool interpretation of Splinter; I like how you've taken your own stab at the design, yet stayed true to the traditional look of the character.

SO glad you didn't stop with just the Turtles. I know I haven't posted before, but I think your line is some of the best work I've ever seen. It would be a CRIME if you didn't at LEAST do Shredder, April, and Casey as well. The Realm demands it! WE NEED MORE!!
