This interpretation of Colossus took me longer than i expected, but i'm fairly satisfied with the outcome. I guess this is my Christmas present to myself..lol
Anyway, when i saw cbrocustoms and dbocustoms take on this character, i was inspired to make one of my own, plus i hadn't had any plans for my abomination figure. Lots and lots of sculpting with this guy, and this was the first time i cast anything. I'm pretty happy with how the helmet turned out and its fairly durable so i wont be expecting any cracking or breaking. Re-sculpted his head, main body, legs, feet, and those gauntlet things on his arms. A problem that I came across while making this custom were the joints on his legs. They were extremely tight and the paint kept rubbing off, so I tried dremeling it but it didn't help. Finally I came to a decision of sculpting over he joint and then my problem was finally solved. Dremeled the warts on his arms, and his feet greatly, to prevent the clown shoe look that i had with my previous strong guy custom. The rest was all straight forward. Painted with citadel paints and i never knew how hard it is to work with yellows.lol. I had a really fun time making this custom and quite happy with how it turned out. Hope you all like it!
