Hey, this was actually for my made for my kid. He's a big DBZ fan and I saw the contest and thought it would be perfect. The recipes are nearly identical, so I thought it wouldn't hurt to post the pic with Goku in here! These are both made for the contest so no hints to my secret identity there. LOL. Thanks for looking and comments are welcome!

Recipe:
Head- random DB statue from a flea market, Hopefully I can find another to make Vegeta SS as the guy had said these were his last ones, but hey, they were cheap!
Neck Ball Joint- DCD figure hip
Torso/Arms- Neca Akuma
Hips/Legs/Feet- WWE DA fodder
Hands/Wrists- Lucha Libre figure
Energy effect is from Star Wars Yoda

I started off here removing the Gi from Akuma. Took apart the torso, thanks to MrGore for the tutorial. Modded/sanded the Neca torso swivel to fit the WWE lower.Dremeled the wrist joint to fit the hands. Removed Akuma's neck joint. Chopped off the statues head and dremeled to make a fit the neck joint I made using a DCD figures hip. Sanded down the bottom of the boot to shave off a little more height. Dremeled down and resculpted the boots based on Google images.Here come's the biggest pain in making this custom... I took apart the knee joint and and adjusted the height by sanding down sides, dremeling the inside of the joint to fit the knee, which were also modded. Then I filled any remaining holes and re-drilled the joint, and made a custom peg to fit both modded holes. Then I resculpted parts of the legs. This guy was completely dissasembled at one point.


Everything is painted in MM acrylics, washed, and drybrushed. Then sealed with Krylon Matte. All sculpting is done with Aves.
