Custom #:36207
Name:X-Force X-23
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:scarecrow studios
Date Added:January 24, 2012
Base Figure:wasp and x-23
Height:6.00 inches
the team continues.....

she was made from a legends wasp body, x-23 lower legs, lower arms and feet, shaved down 2pk wolverine hands with metal claws in her hands and feet, sculpted the belt and then the figure was repainted completely. i need to try and get the lighting right in the pic because for all their belt buckles i used those red mirror backed acrylic disks i got at the craft store sanded flat. the pick up the light really cool from the right angle.

i struggled with if i should add a belly button because the wasp figure wasnt a midrift outfit so its missing, she seems to have one in the books, being a clone grown in a jar and all i decided it was ok to leave it out.

thought id add hasbros warpath to the group pic, more like it is on my shelf. i dont plan on redoing him or the upcoming fantomex. i still need to find bases for domino and archangel and decide if im doing elixir and rahne or not.

vanisher is ready for paint and will be next.

I've seen several versions of this costume in a custom but I like the metal claws and choice of colors on yours. You have a slight tint to the hair and and the face details, are great! You managed to get the lips looking natural, she has a deceivingly exaggerated face sculpt if I'm right and you used the original X-23's head there. Very clean lines, and great paint applications, a nice solid custom!

thanks, I didn't want her to look too made up or glammy so I tried to get a natural lip tone, especially against the psylocke of the same custom team who I gave full make up to. yeah thats an x-23 head, its a mix of black suited x-23 and wasp. the choice of colors started with how painted the first one in the set (deathlok) and matching everyone to him. I debated on doing shades of grey like I did or doing wolvie and x-23 in the more silvery look that they had in the book and thats on the warpath figure, but I decided just to make them all match, and the greys seemed to bring out more definition that plain silver would.
