Taking a trip down memory lane again, after watching all four critters movies late last year, this custom i did, but put it aside as i wanted to start on something else, but anyway i eventually got back into doing this after completing the Ghoulies customs, i wasn't too sure about how to go about this then i thought well somebody had to wear the suit of the BIG Krite, so that's the concept i went with this. It didn't really matter what figure i used as long as it had a basic humanoid shape, so I took an s.p.d. power ranger figure i had lying around and started sculpting the head, arms and feet using A LOT of putty, sanded everything down into shape using the dremel then i added black hair from an old deteriorated mask and that was that. A few days went by and i thought, i'm not too happy with this not without those glowing red eyes, and i looked around my room and remembered that i had some mini torches with red lights lying around, so i ripped the back of the hair off and drilled all the way through the eye parts, then opened up the mini torches took everything out and connected and secured them to the back of the figure, then added plastic which i painted red to the front of the eye holes, added the hair back on and was happy when the eyes lit up red. The articulation is limited with the putty and hair but i'm happy enough with the overall look and to add to the overall effect, i decided to sculpt some little shi....er i mean Krites as they are originally called and put them on a base i got from the man-spider sometime ago,( i know Bleachy came from critters 3, but i stuck him in there anyways) added bits and dabs to it to complete the overall look.
