Captain America (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:37371
Name:Captain America
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:Ickabod26
Date Added:March 5, 2012
Base Figure:ML Colossus
Height:7.00 inches
Completion Time:10.00 hours
This one is a bit more time consuming. I used a ML Colossus and sculpted the mask, filled in sll the seams on his body, swapped out his hands with those of a Sota Streetfighter T.Hawk figure. The shield came from a movie Cap figurine. Random fodder for armor. I'm not happy with the legs but I'm having trouble finding some that fit, so if anyone has a suggestion for lower legs please let me know. Thank you all for looking.

He sorta have an animated look which I'm digging. Way to think outside the box for the base. Looks total badass!

Captain America from Colossus! Unbelievable, and cool idea! That's what I like about your customs, always thinking out of the box for good choice base figures. And of course, the tactical gear here is awesome. Maybe he needs a gun too.

was thinking something that wasn't intended to be carried by hand, some huge artillary, If you can think of any other figures lowere legs I can use that would fit please let me know. And thank you so much for your compliments. I have always wanted to find base figures to use that havent been done yet, obviously you'll never see a deadpool out of me unless its made with an obscure base fig.

I think the lower legs are all right already, but if you want it more traditional Cap style then I'd recommend the Juggernaut from the spider-man figures line. The boots on that figure can work.

I shal try juggernaut, thats a good idea, I may also try some combat style boots, like Ultimate Cap. Thanks for your idea.

He looks great, but in the pictures his legs look scrawny. I like everything else, but I would make the shoulder pads smaller or eliminate them entirely. Great work otherwise!

The gas mask was from a Sigma 6 Destro, and I do agree with the shoulder pads thing, but Colossus after removing his pointy fins on his shoulders they looked horrible and sculpting over them would have restricted the movement, so I covered them. I didn't know whatelse to do. Also he's not quite finished so I may improve on the shoulders.

Awesome cap! The gasmask is awesome too. What is it from? I would just say he doesn't need those shoulder pads as cap is widely known to only use his shield rather than big guns or ammunition.
