i always thought that for being an armored character, most of the early beetle suits didn't look too armored. i wanted to do something very different from the last, more classic, beetle i did with this one. i needed an iron man head for another custom im working on so i sacrificed a black/gold mark v for this from off my shelves. hes a movie iron man b/g mark v (chest repulsor filled in), titanium man head (re-sculpted), deathlok back pack and wasp wings.

using this body as a base was definitely inspired by shinobitron's great constrictor custom.
