Tank Girl is awesome. the movie wasn't awful, but the comic... genius. When I decided to do Tank girl I wanted to do her justice and I think I managed. TONS of work went into this one. First off, I had to sand off all the costume details from Invisible woman from the MLFF series. Then I chopped off the boots from X-23 and added those, then popped off X-23 hair and added her head. then came the sculpting, lots of sculpting. I sculpted the gym socks, the fringe, the pants details, the mohawk, the band-aids, the buttons, and the cigar. The choker is a piece of hemp and the earring is a piece of wire actually pierced through the earlobe. I got a gun from the troll from Shadowrun series 1, harness from nick Fury cut to fit, unknown revolver and belt from fodder bin, knee pad from Judge Death and the other from Judge Dredd, sculpted the strap on the back of the Dredd one, used a piece of Sinister's cape for the back of the other. Belt chain from TDK Joker, helmet from Cap, arrow, knife, and feather added to it. the base is a DCE base, with Madman gun, Mr Blonde soda and Lighter, and a tiny die from my D&D days. The gun is held on by magnet in the gun attached to a piece of a nail inserted into her back, and the cigar is sculpted over a needle to allow it to be placed in either her mouth or fist, oh yeah her hands are from Katchoo, and the dangling "teddy" from Bioshock. Whew! I wanted some of the paint to look like Booga had done it, hence some of it is a little sloppy on purpose, but the majority of it I got as clean as possible, I also tried outlining most of her clothing in fine black lines, I really like how that turned out. I can't post enough pics to show everything, but check out my Facebook page if you care to see more.
