So like i said in the workstation, i've been wanting to give this guy a crack since i first joined the realm and noticed there was only 3 entries into the Bucky O'Hare category. I wanted to go away from my usual style and try something else. So I went for a cartoon style. It was quite nerve racking adding the black lines after doing all the layers of paint he needed. There are a few lines that went wrong but overall i'm pretty pleased with him. Here's the recipe.

RECIPE:
Base = DCUC Negative man, torso, arms and legs re-sculpted for that spacesuit look.

Head = Vintage Bucky O'Hare, ears shaved down and foam for the ear cuffs. It just sits over the head of a DCUC Dr.Midnite.

Collar = sculpted, stars are the mives old earrings.

Stars on epalletes = cut out from a fancy watch strap.

Epalettes and cloak = vintage Bucky, sculpt to blend.

Upper gloves = Vintage Bucky, sculpt to blend.

lower gloves = Sculpted.

Hands = ML Beta ray Bill.

Belt = Sculpted some random tube for the raised bits.

Lower legs = DCUC Firestorm, sculpted boots.

Feet = DCUC Firestorm, sculpted over with foam for the treads.

Gun = Unsure, maybe transformers.

Painted with the usual Games workshop paints, diluted and multiple coats. Sealed with superglue and Satin sealer.

Had a blast trying this new style and I do have plans to do a few more at some point. Thanks for looking and hope you like.

There really aren't enough Bucky O'Hare customs. This looks like it jumped right out from a comic panel. I really like the paint style you went with on him and nice use of the TF gun too!

I couldn't agree more, I'd love to see others take him on and the rest of the crew. I thought this paint style would be easier than my usual style..........I was wrong

Look at his little fluffy bunny-tail! Awesome job buddy! I think his cape could be a bit long so you can see it from the front, but thats a minor, minor nitpick.. Fantastic looking figure!!!

Cheers bud, I did try a longer cloak on him but it just didn't look right, I kinda like the tiny cape, like it's purely for decorative purposes.

Mutants and Aliens and Toads beware. This is one Funky Fresh Rabbit! You knocked this one into S.P.A.C.E..How do I even begin to express my affinity for this character? You sir have created yet another magnum opus for a character line. A customizing pièce de résistance! There is certainly no righteous indignation here but may result in a komplex for us less talented customizers!

This comment made me chuckle so much I nearly entered another dimension in another time and space. I just hope that my proton accelerator doesn't break a bit whilst the parallel dimension falls on it's face. at least the animal adventurer from S.P.A.C.E will emerge from the chaos . OK not as good as your efforts but I tried.

Dunno if he's old enough to go in a museum just yet but maybe 1000 years in the future when someone digs him up, maybe they'll think we all used to be giant green rabbits
